CSiXCAD^TM is a plugin for AutoCAD^®, BricsCAD^®, and ZWCAD^® that streamlines drawing production by directly interacting with ETABS^®, SAP2000^®, and SAFE^®.

Import From ETABS, SAP2000 or SAFE

During import, you have full control over what objects are imported and what drawing views are generated. Data in the CSiXCAD BIM model is defined only once and any changes to a structural item in a drawing are reflected on all drawings where that item is shown.

Update From ETABS, SAP2000 or SAFE

CSiXCAD eliminates the need to transfer data and markups manually to CAD engineers and automatically generates an initial set of drawings that can then be customized and refined using CAD. When the engineer later makes changes to the original design model, CSiXCAD can compare the contents of its BIM model with the modified design model, and either import all changes or only selected changes. Previous edits made to the drawings in CSiXCAD are maintained, and a report listing the changes is generated.

Floor Plans

Steel floor plans show member sizes, shear studs, camber, and end reactions.

Elevations

Steel elevations show member sizes, elevation levels and column splices, and can be drawn as single- or multi-line.

Elevations

Concrete elevations show frame members and walls, including horizontal and vertical wall reinforcement information.

System Requirement CsiXCAD

Processor

Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64
Recommended: Intel i5/i7, AMD Athlon X4/Ryzen, or better.
A 64-bit CPU is required

Operating System

Microsoft^® Windows 10 or 11 (64 bit)

Video Card

Minimum: Supporting 1024 by 768 resolution and 16 bits colors for standard (GDI+) graphics mode
Recommended: Discrete video card with NVIDIA GPU or equivalent and dedicated graphics RAM (512 Mb or larger) for DirectX graphics mode. The card must be DirectX 9.0c compatible (DirectX SDK Aug 2009 – Build 9.27.1734.0).
DirectX graphics mode fully utilizes the hardware acceleration provided by a GPU and dedicated graphics RAM.
For better graphics quality in terms of anti-aliasing and line thickness, the device raster drawing capabilities should support legacy depth bias.

Memory

Minimum: 3 GB for 32-bit O/S, and 4 GB for 64-bit O/S
Recommended: 4 GB for 32-bit O/S, and 8 GB or more for 64-bit O/S
The problem size that can be solved & the solution speed increase considerably with more RAM

Disk Space

6 GB to install the software.
Recommended: 500GB or larger Hard Disk Drive (7200 rpm SATA)
Additional space required for running and storing model files and analysis results, dependent upon the size of the models
